Artist
Fokofpolisiekar are a South African Afrikaans-language punk-rock band formed in Bellville in 2003. They are known for the album Lugsteuring, later records including Swanesang, and songs such as “Hemel op die Platteland” and “Komma.” Fokofpolisiekar have performed at Oppikoppi and KKNK in Oudtshoorn. Alongside those festival appearances, the band has staged its own anniversary concerts, including a twentieth-anniversary show in 2023 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
