Artist
Folk Bitch Trio are an Australian folk group formed in Melbourne in 2020 by Heide Peverelle, Jeanie Pilkington and Gracie Sinclair. Close three-part harmonies and spare guitar arrangements shape songs including “God’s a Different Sword,” “The Actor” and “Moth Song,” all featured on their debut album, Now Would Be a Good Time. Their early live work included support dates for Julia Jacklin, Courtney Barnett and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. The trio later carried its vocal-led live set beyond Australia, performing at SXSW in Austin and The Great Escape in Brighton.
