Comedian
Frank Goosen is a German writer and cabaret performer, born in Bochum in 1966. His novels and stories draw heavily on life in the Ruhr region, football, popular music and growing up, and his best-known books include Liegen lernen, Radio Heimat and Sommerfest. In 1992, he and Jochen Malmsheimer formed the literary-cabaret duo Tresenlesen, which performed until 2000 and returned to the stage in 2020 with Endlich in Hengenbengen. Frank Goosen has also toured theatres with solo readings and comedy programmes built around his own writing, including Acht Tage die Woche: Die Beatles und ich and Spiel ab!
