Franz Ferdinand in Carcassonne

Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish indie-rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002. Their sharp, danceable guitar music became widely known through “Take Me Out,” “This Fire” and “Do You Want To,” while their key albums include Franz Ferdinand, You Could Have It So Much Better and Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. Franz Ferdinand played Glastonbury in 2004 while touring their debut album, then headlined the Reading and Leeds festivals in 2006. They later mounted the Always Ascending tour in 2018 and returned to the road for the Hits to the Head tour in 2022. The band has played the Barrowland Ballroom in its home city, while its larger London headline shows have included Alexandra Palace.
