Futurebirds in Pittsburgh

Futurebirds are an American rock band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 2008. Their music draws on country rock, indie rock and psychedelia, and their catalogue includes the albums Hampton’s Lullaby, Baba Yaga, Hotel Parties and Teamwork, as well as songs such as “Rodeo” and “Ski Chalet.” Futurebirds played Bonnaroo early in their recording career and later appeared at Austin City Limits Music Festival. Between those festival appearances, the band toured clubs and theatres around the United States and repeatedly returned home for shows at the Georgia Theatre.
