GAIDAA in Warsaw

GAIDAA is a Dutch-Sudanese singer-songwriter whose music draws on soul and R&B. Born in the Netherlands and raised partly in Sudan, she became known through songs including “Morning Blue” and “Falling Higher,” followed by the EP Overture and the Saba collaboration “Stranger.” GAIDAA performed “Morning Blue” for COLORS, giving the song a live studio presentation. She later built a longer performance around material from Overture for NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.
