Gang of Youths in Sydney

Gang of Youths are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 2011, led by singer and songwriter Dave Le’aupepe. Their emotionally direct indie rock is represented by the albums The Positions, Go Farther in Lightness and angel in realtime., and by songs including “Magnolia,” “Let Me Down Easy” and “Achilles Come Down.” In 2018, the band recorded MTV Unplugged Live in Melbourne at the Cobblestone Pavilion, recasting its songs for an ensemble that included strings and a choir. The angel in realtime. tour later took Gang of Youths through theatres and large concert halls, including a 2022 performance at Alexandra Palace in London.
