About Geddy Lee

Geddy Lee is a Canadian singer, bassist and keyboardist, born in Toronto in 1953 and best known as the frontman of Rush. His voice, bass playing and synthesizer work are central to albums including 2112 and Moving Pictures, and to songs such as “Tom Sawyer,” “The Spirit of Radio” and “Limelight.” He also released the solo album My Favourite Headache.

Rush’s Time Machine Tour in 2010 and 2011 included Moving Pictures performed in full, while the Clockwork Angels Tour that followed added a string ensemble to part of the set. Geddy Lee last toured with the band on R40 Live in 2015, which ended at The Forum in Los Angeles.

The My Effin’ Life in Conversation tour presented Geddy Lee in theatres, discussing his memoir with a guest interviewer and answering audience questions. The run included the Beacon Theatre in New York and Massey Hall in Toronto.
