Gene Farris is an American DJ, producer and label owner from Chicago whose music draws on the city’s house tradition while extending into techno and tech house. He is known for the track “Space Girl,” later club records including “We Work It,” and his label Farris Wheel Recordings. Gene Farris has played club rooms including Smartbar and Spybar, presenting house and tech-house DJ sets shaped by decades behind the decks.
