Ghost Funk Orchestra in Ridgewood

Ghost Funk Orchestra is an American psychedelic-soul and jazz-funk project led by New York composer and multi-instrumentalist Seth Applebaum. The group’s catalog includes the albums A Song for Paul, An Ode to Escapism, A New Kind of Love and A Trip to the Moon, built around cinematic arrangements, soul vocals and psychedelic textures. Ghost Funk Orchestra brings Applebaum’s layered studio recordings to the stage through a multi-piece ensemble featuring vocalists, horns, guitars, keyboards and percussion. A filmed full-band performance documented that live arrangement for KEXP.
