Gia Margaret in Manchester

Gia Margaret is an American singer-songwriter, pianist and producer based in Chicago. Her music encompasses hushed indie folk, ambient pop and instrumental piano pieces. She became known through her debut album There’s Always Glimmer and songs including “Groceries” and “Birthday,” then explored largely instrumental composition on Mia Gargaret and Romantic Piano. In 2019, she played Pitchfork Music Festival following the release of There’s Always Glimmer. She later performed “Groceries,” “Birthday” and “Smoke” for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert.
