Goo Goo Dolls in Simpsonville

Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986 by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac. Their best-known songs include “Name,” “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon,” while the albums A Boy Named Goo and Dizzy Up the Girl established their guitar-led alternative and pop-rock sound. In 2004, the band played an Independence Day concert outside Buffalo City Hall that was filmed and released as Live in Buffalo. They later co-headlined a 2013 North American tour with Matchbox Twenty, followed by the Long Way Home Summer Tour with Phillip Phillips in 2017. The band then launched the Miracle Pill Tour in 2019 in support of the album of the same name.
