Graham Nash is a British-American singer-songwriter born in Blackpool in 1942, known for his work in The Hollies and as a founding member of Crosby, Stills & Nash. His songwriting connects folk rock and melodic pop; his best-known songs include “Marrakesh Express,” “Teach Your Children,” “Our House,” “Chicago” and “Military Madness,” the latter two appearing on his solo debut, Songs for Beginners. Crosby, Stills & Nash performed at Woodstock in 1969 in only their second public appearance. Nash and David Crosby followed with duo concerts, including a 1971 performance at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles that was later released as Another Stoney Evening. In 1974, he joined David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Neil Young for a stadium tour by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
