Grayson Capps in Biloxi

Grayson Capps is an American singer-songwriter raised in Alabama whose music draws on blues, country, folk and rock, shaped by the years he spent in New Orleans. His songs “Washboard Lisa,” “Lorraine’s Song” and “A Love Song for Bobby Long” appeared in the film A Love Song for Bobby Long, and his solo albums include If You Knew My Mind and Scarlett Roses. The Stavin’ Chain gave him a sustained live outlet on the New Orleans club circuit during the 1990s. He later toured as a solo singer-guitarist and with the Lost Cause Minstrels, whose lineup has included guitarist Corky Hughes.
