Artist
Grieves is an American rapper and songwriter, born Benjamin Laub in Chicago and associated with Seattle’s independent hip-hop scene. After signing to Rhymesayers Entertainment, he released albums including Together/Apart, Winter & the Wolves and Running Wild; “On the Rocks,” “Bloody Poetry” and “Serpents” are among his best-known tracks. Grieves and producer Budo opened for Atmosphere on the To All My Friends Tour in 2010. Their rapper-and-producer setup remained in place the following year when they performed on the Vans Warped Tour.
