Grupo Bryndis is a Mexican grupera band formed in Cerritos, San Luis Potosí, in 1983. Its romantic ballads and cumbias became known through songs including “Te Vas con Él,” “Otro Ocupa Mi Lugar” and “Por Qué Me Enamoré.” The album Solo Pienso en Ti won the Latin Grammy for Best Grupero Album. Grupo Bryndis has toured Mexico and the United States for decades, performing its catalog in theaters, dance halls and grupera concerts. The group appears as a full band built around keyboards, guitar, bass and drums, and Tony Solís has long sung its best-known material onstage.
