Artist
Grupo Cañaveral is a Mexican cumbia group founded by Humberto Pabón in 1995. Its repertoire includes “Tiene espinas el rosal,” “No te voy a perdonar” and “Echarme al olvido,” songs built around tropical rhythms, brass and romantic vocals. In 2016, Grupo Cañaveral recorded its anniversary concert at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional. The performance formed the basis of the live album and video Fiesta Total, and the group later brought its full-band cumbia show to the 2018 edition of Vive Latino.
