Gunhild Carling in Minneapolis

Gunhild Carling is a Swedish jazz musician and singer, born in Gothenburg in 1975, who performs swing and Dixieland on trumpet, trombone, saxophone and several other instruments. She is known for playing three trumpets at once and for her appearances with Postmodern Jukebox, including vintage-jazz versions of “Never Gonna Give You Up” and “The Final Countdown.” Gunhild Carling began performing and touring with the Carling Family as a child. She later led her own big-band concerts and joined international Postmodern Jukebox tours, where her featured numbers combine vocals, brass playing and tap dancing.
