Hadise in Balıkesir

Hadise is a Turkish-Belgian pop and R&B singer, born in Mol in 1985. She is best known internationally for “Düm Tek Tek,” Turkey’s entry at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, while albums including Sweat, Fast Life and Kahraman established her Turkish-language repertoire. Her other widely known songs include “Prenses” and “Sıfır Tolerans.” At the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, Hadise advanced through the semifinal and placed fourth in the final at Olimpiysky Arena. In later years, her Turkish concert schedule included headline performances in Istanbul at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.
