Hailai Ahmu in Rohnert Park

Hailai Ahmu is a Chinese singer-songwriter of Yi ethnicity from Liangshan in Sichuan, born in 1993. He performs Mandarin pop shaped by folk melody and became known through songs including “A Guo Ji Qu” (阿果吉曲), “Your Myriad Rivers and Thousands of Mountains” (你的万水千山) and “But This Is the Human World” (不过人间). In 2024, the Bu Ru Jian Yi Mian tour placed Hailai Ahmu in arena-scale headline concerts across China, drawing its set from his original songs. That same year, he performed on the televised music competition Singer 2024.
