Hasan Minhaj & Ronny Chieng in New Orleans

Hasan Minhaj is an American stand-up comedian, writer and television host, born in 1985 and raised in Davis, California. He became widely known as a correspondent on The Daily Show and as the creator and host of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. His autobiographical special Homecoming King and its follow-up, The King's Jester, draw on family, politics, race and public life. Homecoming King opened at New York’s Cherry Lane Theatre in 2015, and the show later became his first Netflix stand-up special, filmed at the Mondavi Center. He followed it with The King's Jester, touring the production before recording the special at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He then returned to theatres across North America with Off With His Head.

Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian comedian and actor, born in Johor Bahru in 1985. He is known as a correspondent on The Daily Show, for his role in Crazy Rich Asians, and for the Netflix stand-up specials Asian Comedian Destroys America! and Speakeasy. Ronny Chieng toured Hope You Get Rich before returning with Tone Issues and later The Love to Hate It Tour. Each placed him alone onstage for a full-length stand-up set in theatres. At the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, he presented early solo shows including The Ron Way. He also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
