Hatchie is the dream-pop project of Australian singer-songwriter and musician Harriette Pilbeam, formed in Brisbane. She introduced the name with “Try” and the EP Sugar & Spice, then released the albums Keepsake and Giving the World Away; songs including “Sure,” “Stay With Me” and “Quicksand” pair layered guitars with bright pop melodies. In 2018, Hatchie supported Alvvays on an Australian tour. After touring Keepsake through clubs and theatres, Hatchie opened for Beach House on North American dates in 2022 and performed at Coachella in 2023.
