Heino in Zeulenroda

Heino is a German singer, born Heinz Georg Kramm in Düsseldorf in 1938, whose deep baritone became closely associated with Volksmusik and schlager. His best-known recordings include “Blau blüht der Enzian,” “Schwarzbraun ist die Haselnuss” and “Die schwarze Barbara.” The album Mit freundlichen Grüßen presented songs by Rammstein, Die Ärzte and Peter Fox in hard-rock arrangements. At Wacken Open Air in 2013, Heino joined Rammstein to perform “Sonne,” which he had covered on Mit freundlichen Grüßen. In 2018 he announced a farewell tour that continued into 2019, bringing his Volksmusik standards and rock covers to theatres and concert halls under the title Heino sagt Tschüss.
