Henri Herbert in London

Henri Herbert is a French-born British pianist and singer who plays boogie-woogie, blues and rock and roll. He is known for his work as keyboard player in The Jim Jones Revue and for solo pieces including “Gettin’ On Down,” performed in the hard-driving style of early boogie piano. As a member of The Jim Jones Revue, Herbert toured internationally and performed at Glastonbury Festival and Fuji Rock Festival. In 2013, his solo performance on a public piano at St Pancras International brought his boogie-woogie playing to a wider online audience and became a lasting reference point in his live work.
