Hernan Cattaneo in New York

Hernan Cattaneo is an Argentine DJ and producer, born in Buenos Aires in 1965, whose long-form progressive-house sets established his name in electronic music. His catalogue includes the Renaissance: The Master Series and Sequential mix albums, Balance 026 and the weekly radio show Resident; he also founded the Sudbeat label. During the 1990s, he was a resident at Clubland, the Friday night held at Pacha Buenos Aires, before taking his sets to Creamfields Buenos Aires and international club circuits. In 2018 he presented Connected, pairing electronic music with an orchestra in a performance later issued as a live album from Teatro Colón. Outside Argentina, he held a residency for Cream in Liverpool and has repeatedly returned for club dates in Ibiza.
