HEY-SMITH is a Japanese ska-punk and melodic-hardcore band formed in Osaka in 2006. Fast guitars, compact punk songwriting and a prominent horn section shape records including Free Your Mind, STOP THE WAR, Life In The Sun and Rest In Punk. OSAKA HAZIKETEMAZARE FESTIVAL became a recurring hometown event organized by the band, pairing its own sets with performances by other punk and ska acts. HEY-SMITH later toured Japanese live houses on the Life In The Sun Tour and returned to that circuit for the Rest In Punk Tour.
