Hippo Campus in Chicago

Hippo Campus is an American indie-pop band formed in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2013 by high-school classmates. The group first drew attention with the EPs Bashful Creatures and South, then released the album Landmark, which includes “Way It Goes” and “Buttercup.” Later records include Bambi and LP3. Hippo Campus played South by Southwest during their early years and expanded their touring after Landmark with headline shows across North America and Europe. Subsequent runs supported Bambi and LP3, while their festival appearances included Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and England’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
