Hiroko Moriguchi in Shinjuku

Hiroko Moriguchi is a Japanese pop singer and television personality born in Fukuoka in 1968. She debuted in 1985 with “Mizu no Hoshi e Ai wo Komete,” an opening theme for Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and also became known for “ETERNAL WIND: Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka,” the theme from Mobile Suit Gundam F91. Her Gundam Song Covers albums later revisited music from across the franchise. At Animelo Summer Live in 2015, she performed both of her signature Gundam themes at Saitama Super Arena. Four years later, she took part in the franchise’s 40th-anniversary concert Gundam 40th Fes “Live-Beyond” at Makuhari Messe.
