Hitorie in Hong Kong

Hitorie is a Japanese rock band formed in 2011 around singer, guitarist and songwriter wowaka, who was already known for his Vocaloid work. The band’s intricate, fast-moving guitar music is represented by songs including “Senseless Wonder,” “one-Me two-Hearts,” “Polaris” and “3 min 29 sec,” while its albums include Imaginary Monofiction and IKI. Several of these tracks have served as themes for anime series. HITORI-ESCAPE TOUR 2019 brought the three remaining members back to Japanese live houses after wowaka’s death, with guitarist Shinoda taking over lead vocals. The band has also performed on the larger stages of Rock in Japan Festival and Countdown Japan.
