Howie Mandel is a Canadian comedian, actor and television host, born in Toronto in 1955. He is known as the host of Deal or No Deal and a judge on America’s Got Talent, as well as for creating and voicing Bobby’s World and playing Dr. Wayne Fiscus on St. Elsewhere. He also voiced Gizmo in Gremlins. Mandel began performing stand-up at Yuk Yuk’s in Toronto, then appeared at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles during a 1978 visit. Decades later, Showtime aired Howie Mandel Presents Howie Mandel at the Howie Mandel Comedy Club, a 2019 stand-up special filmed at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
Jay Pharoah is an American comedian, actor and impressionist born in Chesapeake, Virginia, in 1987. He is best known for his six seasons on Saturday Night Live, his lead role in the television series White Famous and the stand-up special Can I Be Me? He began performing stand-up in Virginia comedy clubs while still a teenager. From 2010 to 2016, he added weekly live sketch comedy to that work as a cast member at Studio 8H, then returned his focus to headline dates in clubs and theatres. A Jay Pharoah headline set is solo stand-up combining observational material, stories and rapid switches between celebrity voices. His repertoire has included impressions of Barack Obama, Denzel Washington, Jay-Z and Will Smith.
