Hüsnü Arkan in Ankara

Hüsnü Arkan is a Turkish singer-songwriter, musician and novelist, born in Kınık in İzmir Province in 1958. He was a vocalist and songwriter in Ezginin Günlüğü between 1991 and 2010, then released the solo album Solo. His best-known recordings include “Hoş Geldin,” a duet with Birsen Tezer, and “Eksik Bir Şey.” After leaving Ezginin Günlüğü, he began performing under his own name, drawing his concert repertoire from his solo records and the songs he wrote and sang during his years in the group. These performances place his voice and lyrics at the centre of arrangements played by accompanying musicians, preserving a direct link to Ezginin Günlüğü.
