Hypocrisy in Omaha

Hypocrisy is a Swedish death-metal band formed in Ludvika in 1991 by vocalist, guitarist and producer Peter Tägtgren. Its music moved toward a more melodic and atmospheric strain of death metal on releases including The Fourth Dimension, Abducted and The Final Chapter; “Roswell 47” became one of the band’s signature songs, while later albums include Virus and Worship. In 2010, Hypocrisy filmed a concert in Sofia that was released as Hell Over Sofia: 20 Years of Chaos. More than a decade later, the Worship European Tour featured Septicflesh, The Agonist and Horizon Ignited, followed in 2022 by North American concerts featuring Carach Angren and Hideous Divinity.

Hulder is a black-metal project founded in the United States in 2018 by Belgian musician Marz Riesterer. Its raw, medieval-tinged sound is documented on the albums Godslastering: Hymns of a Forlorn Peasantry and Verses in Oath, as well as the EP The Eternal Fanfare. A touring lineup performed at Maryland Deathfest in 2022, bringing material originally created as a solo studio project to the stage as a full band. In 2024, Hulder headlined the Decibel Magazine Tour, supported by Devil Master, Worm and Necrofier.
