i cani in Assisi

i cani is an Italian indie-pop project created in Rome by songwriter Niccolò Contessa. It became known through the 2011 debut Il sorprendente album d’esordio de I Cani and songs including “I pariolini di 18 anni,” “Hipsteria” and “Wes Anderson,” followed by the albums Glamour and Aurora. i cani took the debut record into Italian clubs, where Contessa fronted a live band. The project returned to the stage for concert runs supporting Glamour and Aurora, playing clubs, theatres and summer festivals. i cani performed at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and at MI AMI Festival in Milan.
