IDLES are a British rock band formed in Bristol in 2009. Their post-punk and punk catalog includes the albums Brutalism, Joy as an Act of Resistance, Ultra Mono, Crawler and Tangk, as well as songs such as “Danny Nedelko,” “Never Fight a Man with a Perm” and “Grounds.” In 2019, IDLES played the Park Stage at Glastonbury and closed the year with a headline show at Alexandra Palace in London. The Love Is the Fing tour followed in 2024 and included a headline performance on that festival’s Other Stage. The group performs as a five-piece: Joe Talbot on vocals, Mark Bowen and Lee Kiernan on guitars, Adam Devonshire on bass and Jon Beavis on drums. Outside their home market, IDLES have repeatedly toured France and Germany and mounted headline runs across the United States.
