India Shawn in Los Angeles

India Shawn is an American R&B singer-songwriter, born in Los Angeles and raised in Atlanta. She first worked as part of the songwriting collective Full Circle before releasing her own music, including the album Origin, the James Fauntleroy collaboration Outer Limits and Before We Go Deeper. Her best-known songs include “Movin’ On” featuring Anderson .Paak and “Don’t Play With My Heart.” In 2022, India Shawn performed material from Before We Go Deeper for NPR’s Tiny Desk (home) series. Later that year, she brought the record to club stages on the Before We Go Deeper Tour.
