Infected Mushroom & Blastoyz in New York

Infected Mushroom is an Israeli electronic duo formed in Haifa in 1996 by Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani. Their music is rooted in psytrance and has also incorporated rock, electronica and dubstep; key releases include Classical Mushroom, Converting Vegetarians and Vicious Delicious, while “Becoming Insane” and “Heavyweight” are among their best-known tracks. Infected Mushroom performed at Coachella in 2007 and later appeared at major electronic events including Ultra Music Festival and Dreamstate. They play both DJ sets and concerts with a live band, a format used for their 25th-anniversary show at Expo Tel Aviv.

Blastoyz is the psytrance project of Israeli producer and DJ Kobi Nigreker. His music draws on psychedelic trance and full-on, and he is known for tracks including “Parvati Valley,” “Mandala” and the Seven Lions collaboration “After Dark.” Blastoyz has performed at EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland, presenting his music in festival DJ sets. His bookings have also included the trance-focused Dreamstate Southern California and A State of Trance.
