Ingrid Michaelson in Cerritos

Ingrid Michaelson is an American singer-songwriter born in New York City in 1979. She plays piano-led indie pop and acoustic folk-pop, and her 2006 album Girls and Boys reached a wider audience after “The Way I Am” appeared in an Old Navy commercial. Her other well-known songs include “Be OK,” “You and I” and “Girls Chase Boys.” The Human Again Tour took her through North American theatres in 2012, followed by the Lights Out Tour in 2014 and the Hell No Tour in 2016. In 2019, she brought the television-inspired album Stranger Songs to theatres as a two-act production called The Dramatic Tour.
