Inner Circle in London

Inner Circle is a Jamaican reggae band formed in Kingston in 1968. The group first recorded with singer Jacob Miller and later reached a broad audience through “Bad Boys,” used as the theme for the television series Cops, and “Sweat (A La La La La Long).” At the 1978 One Love Peace Concert at the National Stadium, Miller fronted Inner Circle on a program that also included Bob Marley and the Wailers. Following Miller’s death in 1980 and a hiatus, the band regrouped and returned to international touring; its later festival appearances have included Rototom Sunsplash in Spain.
