Artist
Islander is an American rock band formed in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2011. Its music draws on nu metal, alternative metal and post-hardcore, and the band became known through the album Violence & Destruction and songs including “Coconut Dracula” and “New Wave.” The follow-up album Power Under Control expanded its catalogue. Islander played the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in 2014 as Violence & Destruction arrived. That run was followed in 2015 by dates supporting Korn and Papa Roach and a summer run on the Vans Warped Tour.
