J. Cole in Cleveland

J. Cole is an American rapper and producer, born in Frankfurt in 1985 and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His reflective, narrative-driven hip-hop is represented by albums including 2014 Forest Hills Drive, 4 Your Eyez Only and KOD, and by songs such as “No Role Modelz,” “Love Yourz” and “Middle Child.” The Dollar & a Dream Tour began in 2013 as a series of small-venue shows announced at short notice. The 2015 Forest Hills Drive Tour moved through amphitheaters and arenas and included a Fayetteville concert at Crown Coliseum that became an HBO special. He followed it with the 4 Your Eyez Only World Tour in 2017 and the KOD Tour in 2018, whose supporting acts included Young Thug, Jaden Smith and EarthGang. The United States is his main live market, while his European arena tours have also reached London and Amsterdam.
