About Jac Ross
Jac Ross is an American soul and R&B singer from Live Oak, Florida. Raised in the church, he is known for the gospel-rooted vocal style of “It’s OK to Be Black,” his debut single released through Rodney Jerkins’ Darkchild Records, and songs including “Saved.”
Jac Ross performed “It’s OK to Be Black” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He later recorded a Tiny Desk (home) concert for NPR Music.
