James Arthur is a British singer-songwriter, born in Middlesbrough in 1988, who performs pop shaped by rock, soul and acoustic songwriting. He won The X Factor in 2012 and became known for his recording of “Impossible,” followed by songs including “Say You Won’t Let Go,” “Can I Be Him” and “Train Wreck.” His albums include James Arthur and Back from the Edge. The Back from the Edge Tour took him through theatres and arenas in 2017. He followed it with the You: Up Close and Personal Tour and the You Tour, then returned to arena stages for the Bitter Sweet Love World Tour in 2024. His UK concert schedules have repeatedly taken him to London, Manchester and Glasgow.
