João Gomes in Brisbane

João Gomes is a Brazilian singer and songwriter born in Serrita, Pernambuco, in 2002. He performs piseiro and forró, and became known through the album Eu Tenho a Senha and songs including “Meu Pedaço de Pecado,” “Dengo” and “Aquelas Coisas.” Eu Tenho a Senha was recorded as a live performance in Petrolina in 2021, establishing the concert format at the center of his early catalogue. In 2022 he recorded the concert project Acredite at Marco Zero in Recife before performing at that year’s Rock in Rio.
