Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers in Pittsburgh

Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers are an American roots-rock band led by Pittsburgh singer, guitarist and songwriter Joe Grushecky. The group developed from the Iron City Houserockers and is known for records including Have a Good Time but Get Out! and American Babylon, plus songs such as “Pumping Iron” and “Never Be Enough Time.” Bruce Springsteen produced American Babylon and co-wrote material for the album. In October 1995, Springsteen joined the band for a series of club concerts connected to the release of American Babylon. Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers later became recurring performers at Light of Day WinterFest, the benefit event centered in Asbury Park.
