John Legend is an American singer-songwriter and pianist, born in Springfield, Ohio, in 1978. He established his solo career with the soul and R&B album Get Lifted and “Ordinary People,” then added songs including “Green Light” and the piano ballad “All of Me” to his repertoire. The Love in the Future World Tour took his piano-led show through theatres and arenas in 2014. He followed it with the Darkness and Light Tour in 2017 and the Bigger Love Tour in 2021, before staging the Love in Las Vegas residency at Zappos Theater in 2022.
