Josh Wink in Dallas

Josh Wink is an American DJ and producer from Philadelphia, born in 1970. He is known for acid house and techno, particularly “Higher State of Consciousness,” “Don’t Laugh,” released as Winx, and “I’m Ready,” released as Size 9. He also co-founded the Philadelphia label Ovum Recordings. In the late 1980s, Josh Wink began DJing at parties around Philadelphia and became part of the city’s early rave circuit. His club and festival appearances are DJ sets centered on techno, house and acid records, including his own productions. In the United States, he has performed at Movement in Detroit, while European bookings have included Awakenings in the Netherlands and Time Warp in Germany.
