Joyce Jonathan in Lille

French singer-songwriter Joyce Jonathan was born in Levallois-Perret in 1989 and writes acoustic pop and chanson. Her debut album, Sur mes gardes, introduced songs including “Pas besoin de toi” and “Je ne sais pas”; she followed it with Caractère, home to “Ça ira.” Joyce Jonathan performed at the Olympia in Paris during the concert run that followed Sur mes gardes. Her live work later reached China, where she has performed her French-language repertoire for audiences far beyond France.
