Juanes in San Pedro del Pinatar

Juanes is a Colombian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Medellín in 1972, who first recorded with the rock band Ekhymosis before beginning a solo career. He plays Spanish-language pop rock and is known for the albums Un Día Normal and Mi Sangre, as well as songs including “A Dios le Pido,” “Es por Ti” and “La Camisa Negra.” In 2008, Juanes organized and performed at the first Paz Sin Fronteras concert on the Simón Bolívar International Bridge near Cúcuta; the following year he led a second edition at Havana’s Plaza de la Revolución. He recorded MTV Unplugged at the New World Center in Miami in 2012 under the musical direction of Juan Luis Guerra, then toured with the Loco de Amor Tour and Origen Tour. He has returned for concerts in Bogotá and Madrid.
