JUVENILE in Milwaukee

JUVENILE is an American rapper from New Orleans, born in 1975 and closely associated with the city’s bounce-driven Southern hip-hop sound. A member of the Hot Boys and a key artist in Cash Money Records’ late-1990s rise, he is known for the album 400 Degreez and the songs “Ha,” “Back That Azz Up” and “Slow Motion.” In 2023, JUVENILE performed a career-spanning Tiny Desk Concert at NPR in Washington, D.C., accompanied by Mannie Fresh and a live band. He carried that band-led approach into the Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour in 2024.
