Artist
Kandi is an American R&B singer-songwriter, born in 1976 and raised in Atlanta, who first became known as a member of Xscape. Her solo recordings include “Don’t Think I’m Not” and the album Hey Kandi...; she also co-wrote TLC’s “No Scrubs” and Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills.” Xscape reunited for a performance at the BET Awards in 2017 and followed it with The Great Xscape Tour. Kandi mounted her solo Welcome to the Dungeon Tour in 2019, presenting a theatrical, adult-themed R&B show. In 2024, Xscape and SWV co-headlined the Queens of R&B Tour.
